Since joining the ozfit family I have seen my body change more than I ever thought possible in 12 short weeks, I’ve made amazing new friends with shared goals and I now look at exercise not as a hellish chore but as an enjoyable part of everyday life. Words can’t begin to describe how passionately I feel about Ozfit and all it encompasses.

1. Mason and Alicia are the best people you could ever ask for to take you as you are and work with you to achieve whatever your goals may be. They are so approachable and down to earth but at the same time not afraid to give you a kick up the bum when you need one.
2. Ozfit honestly is like a tight knit family. The environment that they have managed to create is nothing short of amazing. You may not know anyone on your first night at bootcamp but within a week or two you have made friends who support you when you need it most and who genuinely care how you’re going. There is a real feeling of “we’re all in this together” It’s amazing the difference a smile or a word of encouragement make when you’re making your way around the oval.
3. The results are amazing. If you turn up, do what Mason and Alicia set out for you and eat all the right foods, the body you want is yours for the taking.

Health and fitness goal

My health and fitness goal is to feel fit, confident in myself, healthy, energetic and to be able look in the mirror and have only positive thoughts.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training

So far from being trained at ozfit I have lost 15kgs in the 12 week challenge. Which was 16.4% of my body weight. I also feel a lot fitter, energetic and more confident. I don’t fight with my wardrobe every morning either and I have mainly positive thoughts when I look in the mirror.

1. It’s such a lovely friendly environment to train in. They cater for all ages, and I’ve made so many new friends.
2. Every single person who trains with ozfit is so supportive and encouraging of one and other. It’s all about team work.
3. The trainers are awesome with a can do attitude and are so understanding. Alicia wasn’t just my personal trainer, she was also my nutritionist, physiologist (at times) and now my friend!

When I started with OZ FIT I just wanted to increase my health and fitness. But now due to the passion shown by mason and Alicia my goals have grown to wanting to increase muscle mass while saying lean and one day competing on stage.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training:

The results I have achieved while training with OzFit wouldn’t of been possible without the motivation and guidance of Mason and Alicia. I’ve increased my muscle mass and stayed lean. Gone from a small size shirt to a medium. Putting on 8 kgs of lean muscle and still going. I’ve found new ways to motivate myself in all aspect of my life and learnt so much I didn’t know about food and nutation.

1. Mason and Alicia are extremely friendly and very welcoming and explain every exercise, as well as demonstrate and check correct form. Which makes it so easy for people who have never done weight training before.
2. Mason and Alicia enjoy training all of the clients and love seeing the results they help there clients achieve which is why I think they are always finding new ways to train there clients as efficient as possible. 
3. While training and you think you have nothing left in the tank Mason and Alicia are there to push you harder then you thought possible the achieve new boundaries.

I have learnt so much about nutrition and how what I put i to my body really matters. I have done five 12 week challenges so far with OZFIT and have learnt more every time I do one. This 12 week challenge I achieved so much for myself, I never thought I could push myself this hard and be so determine. But with Mason and Alicia’s inspiring words and encouragement I have never been so close to my dream body as now. It is also all in your mind with how committed you want to be, so many people in the most recent challenge in 2014 were so committed to their goals and it made you want to be as well.

To get ready for my wedding and to ensure I was in the best shape possible before having children.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training.

I have lost over 30kg and I’m the fittest I have ever been. 

Ive always struggled with weight gain and over the years gone up and down. This time I have kept it off and I’m not going back.

Ive never done weights before OZFIT and it feels great to be strong and feel myself getting stronger each session I do.

1. Culture-the culture at OZ FIT is like a family, you go and not only exercise but to catch up and motivate your friends to succeed.

 My goal was to lose weight, gain muscle and become a stronger person physically and mentally.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training:

12 months ago (August 2013) I was overweight, had no energy and generally was unfit.  My daughter Rebecca put me in touch with Alicia as she was worried about my physical inactivity which also reflected in my moods and general outlook on life. Alicia and I met just before the 12 weeks body challenge started. I instantly felt comfortable with Alicia and from there on my “becoming fit again” journey begun.  I was unable to do any running sessions due to a knee operation in early August but Alicia and Mason worked around this minor hurdle and after  12 weeks of boot camps, healthy eating  and 750km of walking   (I had my own pedometer for recording my steps)  I lost  14kg and felt great !  

In June 2014 I decided to do the 8 weeks body blitz.  My goal was to increase my muscle mass and tone up.  It was challenging sometimes but with the support of Alicia and Mason I lost a further 7 kg and got down to a body fat percentage of 7%.  I feel fantastic, fit and healthy.

1. The boot camps are great. I love the combination of cardio and weight training. Every session is different!  To date I am still training and boxing with OZ FIT to keep my fitness levels up.

2. Mason and Alicia are like family.   They  created a well equipped fitness environment where people young and old with different goals and fitness levels can get together to exercise.   Mason and Alicia are very supportive and encouraging when you are doubtful about your own abilities.                  

3. Not only are the trainers welcoming, but every person I have met through OZ FIT are friendly and share the same aspirations - to lose weight and to become fit and healthy. I have made a lot of new friends through this and am very thankful I joined the OZ FIT Family.

My original introduction to Oz Fit was when I became very inspired by the transformation of one of my  close friends who had been training with Oz Fit for just a few months so I had to give it a go and I haven’t looked back since. At the time I didn’t really have a specific goal in mind but after being so active in my younger days, I had definitely let myself go and knew I needed a lifestyle change.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training
I started training with Oz Fit about 1.5 years ago and since then I’ve competed in 2 Tough Mudders, 3 Spartan Races and numerous “fun runs” and will continue to do so on a regular basis as I now crave the next challenge and strive to set the bar even higher. I have also just finished Oz Fit’s 8 Week Body Blitz program and without question I’m now in the best shape of my life. I’m eating better, drinking less, feel better mentally and physically and my confidence and way of life has improved dramatically.  

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer frinds and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training
1. The Trainers – Mason & Alicia truly live and breathe the Oz Fit slogan “Your fitness is our passion” as you can tell they get just as much of a sense of achievement when you reach your goals as you do. They are extremely professional and focused but at the same time have created such a friendly and supportive environment.
2. Boot Camps – Forget what you think you know about boot camps because Mason & Alicia’s sessions can be very challenging however they do cater for all fitness levels and goals. Although we all like to be ultra-competitive; everyone at boot camp is also extremely supportive of each other and the sessions are always evolving and lots of fun.
3. Oz Fit Family – There is an amazing culture throughout Oz Fit and for the long standing clientele it feels like an extended family (in fact my wife and kids are also regulars at the boot camp sessions). There is such a sense of comradely amongst the entire group as, whilst everyone has their own individual goals, a lot of the programs and challenges are done as a team and everyone experiences the same struggles and celebrate our achievements together. I’ve met some incredible and inspiring people and made a heap of great new friends.

After having 4 children I really had ‘let go’ of myself. My main goal was to lose ‘flab’ and feel good about myself again.

In Just 8 weeks I lost just under 9kgs. I now fit back into my pre baby wardrobe. I have the fitness level to run alongside my older 2 kids while they’re riding their bikes, and push my younger 2 in the double pram. I am happy and much more healthy.

Health and fitness Goal

After many years of neglect and abusing by health I realised (through ill health) that it was time I needed to do something about my weight as I was obese and struggling to make it through each day.

Inner Health and Well Being were only words until it became clear that my own health was depleting and that it was about time find that inner person I once was, before I could no longer achieve it myself. 

I have tried Jenny Craig and Tony Ferguson, then realised that it was time to roll my sleeves up, buckle down and work it off the old fashioned way.

Contacting OZ FIT in hindsight, was the best thing I could have done to reach my goal to improve my life style and well being and shed that unwanted fat.

I have lost over 30kg whilst being trained at OZ FIT, I’ve completely changed my life for the better and cant speak any higher of the professionalism and commitment that mason and Alicia show their clients. I had all the health issues like high blood pressure, cholesterol and low energy levels and now I don’t have to worry about them at all. They teach you whats foods to eat and THEY DO NOT STARVE YOU IN THE PROCESS with silly ‘starvation’ diets.

My maintained social friendships have helped me keep me true to my goals.

 The boot camp sessions are tough and the personal sessions re tailored to each individuals goals, and if followed the results are achievable.

My Health and fitness goal

To lose excess body fat, increase fitness levels, learn more about healthy eating and just see what my body is capable of. 

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training.

I have lost 125kg since first starting with OZ FIT (9kg) on the body blitz 2014. I have learned how important a healthy meal plan is in losing weight, building muscle and how good you can feel with a balanced diet and exercise programme. My fitness levels have increased and my body fat levels are at a point where I can maintain a fit body while occasionally overindulging.

There has to be a special Thank you to Mason for my one on one personal training sessions the goals I have achieved through the encouragement and support throughout when you think you can’t you really can! You have taught me that you can do anything you put your mind to! Keeping me on track with my food choices has enabled me to keep reaching for the next goal. I now have a trim taught terrific figure from the hard work, persistence, and ongoing support J

The recent challenge was the 8 week Body Blitz which I gave myself quite some time to think about due to the High Intensity of Diet and Exercise it was a Huge Commitment to make and stick to but once again the Encouragement from Mason & Alicia to say you can do this ,so I thought here goes the next Goal was Achieved 8 weeks later Wow! My Health and Fitness Goal:

The very first time I met Alicia, I summed my goal up in 3 words, ‘Muscle God please’. After realising this would involve both running and multiple leg sessions-there was a slight variation on the goal! I’d lost weight in the past and had always put it back on again-all these times my goals were purely aesthetic, I would get bored with the process before really achieving the results. Through training with Oz Fit in Boot Camps/PT’s/Boxing/12 Week Challenge, I learnt to set goals that still incorporated an aesthetic element, but were centred around feeling healthier and stronger, strengthening my muscles to improve posture and reduce the need for pain medication for headaches/sore back, learning what foods my body needs, and learning what my body can achieve if I push it-like running!

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

I have achieved so much more than I ever thought I would. Physically I have achieved the weight loss I had set out to and maintained it, become stronger and have less headaches because of improved posture and muscle use, as well as feeling healthier on the inside. I have learnt that I am mentally stronger than I believed, that when I’ve wanted to give up and walk away-I do have more to give and can push myself a little further. I have learnt that all the things I’d told myself I ‘couldn’t’ do, I actually could-and after all the times I didn’t think I deserved to feel this good, I do deserve this, I can do this-and I will continue to do this. Learning that this journey is just as much about the mental and emotional transformations as it is the physical changes through many tears, lightbulb moments and PT disguised therapy sessions is what has helped me develop the confidence in myself to accept challenges, seek change and not shy away from new situations and people as I’ve always done. I haven’t just found trainers, I’ve found friends-and all of this is so much more than the shy kid crying against the rail 12 months ago after my first ever shuttle runs ever thought could be achieved!

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training?

 1. The people. I have met the most amazing, supportive and encouraging people through my training with Oz Fit. Even on the days I don’t feel like training, I know I will be spending time with people who have become more like my family and will give me the motivation to push a little harder, listen to my whinging and still hug me at the end!

 2. The genuine care and support of Alicia and Mason. My PT and Boot Camp sessions over the last year have brought every emotion to the surface at some point. Mason and Alicia have always taken the time to ask if I’m ok, and if they can do anything for me, and at no point has it ever felt as though this were being done out of obligation, but a genuine care for all their clients.

 3.The knowledge that is shared is more than I would ever take in from reading in a book. No question is ever too hard and everything is explained in a way that is easy to understand whether it be food/exercise related. Working with trainers who have such a passion for what they do and do themselves what they ask of us-shows that goals are achievable and pushes you that little bit further to achieve them.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training:

I achieved an ultimate lifestyle change with OZ FIT. Mason and Alicia helped me achieve more with fitness then I even knew I wanted. After starting OZ FIT 2yrs ago just to get “bikini ready” I ended up finding a very comfortable family-like fitness group, don’t get me wrong; every session was intense and epic but Mason and Alicia, along with the rest of the bootcampers that do bootcamps, make you feel like family. I ended up getting down to less then 11% body fat and was in the best shape of my life, feeling even better then i ever had! I would NOT have been able to achieve this on my own or at any other gym because of the knowledge that both Mason and Alicia have with fitness, nutrition, support, encouragment and patience. All of the training, constant support and nutrition that OZ FIT Personal Training offer also got me prepared for one of the biggest journeys in my life to date…

trying out for the LFL (Legends Football League) at the start of this year. OZ FIT Personal Training’s ability to adapt to any type of fitness situation saw me achieve my dream, getting picked to train with QLD Brigade in the Australian LFL. OZ FIT Personal Training still continues to support me through my fitness and hope of getting a contract with QLD Brigade at the end of the year :)

1. Mason and Alicia are such positive, motivated and encouraging people that it attracts the same type of person to the epic bootcamps they do. They make anyone training at OZ FIT Personal Training feel like home/family, which encourages anyone, no matter their fitness level, to get involved and get healthy in an amazing, professional atmosphere.

2. Not only are the bootcamps and SUPER CHALLENGES amazing, the 2 Private Studios that OZ FIT Personal Training offer are awesome! One is full of free weights and the other is HAMMERSTRENGTH (one of the worlds leading gym equipment to date) The personal training sessions they offer are, again, induvidually based for different fitness levels and different fitness goals.

3 Their motto is ‘your fitness is our passion’ and that truely IS what OZ FIT Personal Training offer and the exact reason I would and do recommend anyone wanting to lose a few kilos or just tone up or get fit while having fun or get involved in a group activity and/or start a hobby or achieve a dream of competing in a fitness comp etc as they offer anything from that broad spectum of fitness.

Health and Fitness Goal:

My main goal when joining Mason and Alicia at OZ FIT was to build lean muscle and put on some size. My wife had been training with Alicia and had achieved amazing results and completely transformed herself. She inspired me to also lose weight and  with Alicia guiding her I followed her lead and managed to lose 15kg and was quite lean and tiny. Feeling quite fit at that point I wanted to bulk up a little but do it in a healthy way. That’s when I decided to join Mason and we made a plan to focus on a weight training and clean bulking program followed by a cutting cycle to cut the fat gained over the bulking period.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training:

Over the 12 months that we have focused on the weight training and clean bulking cycle I managed to put on over 20kg. I went form 79kg to well over 100kg and managed to do this while still maintaining good health. My strength went through the roof and I was lifting weights that I didn’t expect to be able to lift in such a short period of time. Once I had reached my goal of weighing over 100kg we embarked on a 12 week fat cutting cycle. We managed to get my body fat from around 19% down to just under 12% during this 12 week cycle. It was a very challenging process. Mason helped me to focus on the goal and he knew exactly what it took to get it done both mentally and physically.

My experience over the past year has helped me build more confidence in myself than I’ve ever had before. My health has improved and my overall outlook on fitness is very positive compared to past years. It’s an addictive hobby bodybuilding and something I plan to do for many years to come and I look forward to training with Mason to achieve the best I can.  I can’t thank Mason enough for his guidance and knowledge. He has taught me more about the ability that I have than I thought possible.

To change someone’s life is not an easy task but that’s exactly what Mason and Alicia have done for me and my wife Heidi. And that’s something money can’t buy. Thank you guys.            

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training? 

1. The knowledge Mason has of the weight training and the way my body works was unbelievable. He gets to know your body better than you do. He would be able to tell me how many reps I would do before fatiguing and he would do this before I even began a set. He knew my limits better than I did.           

2. His experience with the nutrition side of training is also obvious. He told me when we first started the bulking cycle how much weight I can expect to gain on a weekly basis. His estimate was almost spot on. With the food guidance he provided, he estimated a 500gram gain weekly. Over the 12 month period it was around 480 grams I gained weekly.

3. Mason and Alicia are not just good trainers they are also great people. They are very down to earth and easy going and very much in touch with reality. They help with the ups and downs as they have themselves experienced them first hand. From my experience all of this is a major part in succeeding in your fitness goals. If you enjoy what your doing your bound to get results. And the last point to make is you don’t just get a trainer. You get a counsellor and a friend. :)

Health and fitness goal:

To compete as a fitness model at the INBA competition in May 2013. I went to the INBA September 2012 competition to watch Mason compete on stage and was so inspired by his dedication, hard work and end result that I decided to work towards getting on the stage myself!

What have you acheived while being trained at OZ FIT Perosnal Training:

I achieved my health and fitness goal and was able to compete in the INBA comp in May. Not only did I achieve the body I wanted and needed for the stage, I also achieved the mental strength that was necessary for the journey. My fitness levels also improved dramatically after dropping unnecessary body fat and building extra lean muscle. I now have the strength and endurance to run longer distances and at a faster pace.  

What are the main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to OZ FIT Personal Training:

1.   Mason and Alicia train both the body and the mind! I could not have achieved my goal without their constant support and encouragement along the way. They keep a close eye on the mental well-being of their clients and are always there to listen to the challenges that their clients are facing and provide them with the motivation they need to reach their goals.

2.   The programs are personalised. Mason and Alicia take the time to get to know their clients personally and are able to design programs that they know will enable each client to achieve their personal health and fitness goals.  

3.   Mason and Alicia are very professional and very knowledgeable and can teach their clients so much about heath, fitness and nutrition. I learnt something knew in every single session!

My Health and Fitness goal:

My primary goal was to loose weight. I was carrying way to much weight, was unfit, drunk too much and ate too much unhealthy food.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?:

My primary goal was to loose weight. I started out at 112kgs in September 2012 and have dropped to 91kgs after the last 12 week challenge. Losing weight has obviously lifted my fitness levels and better health has been a benefit of this.. I can now say I’m as fit, if not fitter than I was at high school. I have been equipped with the mental tools to eat cleanly, control portion size, and  work out regularly.

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to OZ FIT Personal Training:

1 - Bootcamps: The group bootcamp sessions that are run 4 times a week are challenging but rewarding. Mason and Alicia always have different activities to challenge us with so there is no getting bored with the sessions. Everyone who participates in the bootcamps are friendly and supportive, and are a great bunch of people to work out with. It’s good to have a laugh while working out.

2 - Oz Fit helps you to achieve your goals: Mason and Alicia know exactly how to help you reach your goals. Their knowledge, dedication and positive attitude help contribute to reaching  what you want to achieve. Their daily SMS ” thought for the day” have stopped me a few times from reaching for that bag of chips, or can of Coke. Oz Fit are professional and dedicated to you. They standby their slogan of “fitness is our passion”.

My Health & Fitness Goals:

To live a life of no regrets to no longer let my weight hold me back from 

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

First off I would like to talk about the physical achievements. Weight loss I achieved 50kg going from 146 to 96kg, I have gone from not been able to run a lap to been able to run multiple laps at an ever increasing pace. I can now lift push and pull weights I never thought I could do 
For me this is nothing to my new mental toughness that I have achieved. I now have the ability to beat my former demons that been my inability to make healthy food choices and giving up when it was all too tough. 

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training:

1. I have trained with a few different trainers over the last few years and you truly don’t understand what a bad trainer is until you have a good trainer. Mason and Alicia are those good trainers there understanding of nutrition and body movement enable you to achieve results you never thought possible
2. Often with trainers they are simply that there to train but with OZ Fit you get someone that is there 24 hours a day, they are part nutritionist, part trainer, part psychologist pretty much every weapon you need in your arsenal to attain your goals
3. I have tried gyms before but to be honest I don’t think I shall go back to that environment again. At OZ FIT you spend a lot of time outside not stuck in a gym running on treadmill and for me this is what I love 
On a final note words can not express my gratitude that I have for Mas and Alicia you guys are unbelievable and thank you so much for helping me achieve my goals

My Health and Fitness Goal

In the beginning my goal was to lose weight because I didn’t like the way I looked, Enjoy life and walk up a flight of stairs without feeling puffed!

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

I have achieved a new outlook on life, after losing over 25kgs with Alicia and Mason I have come out of my shell alot more and my confidence has had a massive boost… Something that I have notice since I started Training in May 2012 I could never run the around the football field, now I can run twice around without a second thought!

Also I never thought I would EVER come first in something related to health and fitness however after teaming up with Angie who I met through the OzFit Bootcamps we successfully took out first place 12 week challenge in 2012 which was an amazing feeling! Thanks to Alicia and Mason’s saying “sacrifice or regret” and it was worth it!

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training?

1. I would refer anyone to Alicia and Mason because it’s not like going to a gym where there is no support or you feel like you’re being judged as soon as you walk in the door. With OzFit it’s like family, you have all the support you need and there is no judgment, even the people attending the bootcamp sessions are friendly and always willing to lend a hand.

2. Every session is different you never know what they are planning! Mason and Alicia cater to everyone’s needs whether its injuries or fitness levels, it just adds to the excitement and you know they will be there every step of the way!!


3. Alicia and Mason have helped me reach my goals when I was at breaking point and needed support, they were there! Most Personal Trainers are all Business where as OzFit is Professional with an edge, they are always a phone call or message away when you’re about to eat or drink something you really shouldn’t, they give you that push and remind you what your working towards and without that I would have given up within a month!

P.S I have always hated Pink however I have a new appreciation for Pink and Black!

Angie Lacey, 39

My Health and Fitness Goal

To be strong mentally and physically. To live a long and healthy life to get revenge on my children when they grow up! Lol!

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

I was always very confident, however, there was some things I would avoid because I felt I wasn’t strong enough. Now my confidence has sky rocketed and nothing stands in my way.

Not only do I feel great, I look great. I have lost 30kg in approximately 18months. Due to this weight loss it has been easier to combat the Ross River Virus Ihad been struggling with. I also love to play softball and while training with OZ FIT “I have gained so much for strength and conditioning, I now enjoy my favourite sport even more. I’ve gained so much more knowledge about leading a healthy and active life and how it affects the body long term.

1. OZ FIT is not just about focusing on weight loss, its about changing your lifestyle to be healthy and fit and also changing your mindset that surrounds weightloss.

2. OZ FIT supports all your goals and what can be achieved. Its about taking each day one step at a time to meet your end goal. Mason and Alicia are very supportive and its all done guilt-free. Its focused on what you want not what they want.

3. Alicia and Mason are very friendly and approachable. They share their own goals to help with your motivation. They are both very caring and very inspirational to all their clients.
