What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

I was always very confident, however, there was some things I would avoid because I felt I wasn’t strong enough. Now my confidence has sky rocketed and nothing stands in my way.

Not only do I feel great, I look great. I have lost 30kg in approximately 18months. Due to this weight loss it has been easier to combat the Ross River Virus Ihad been struggling with. I also love to play softball and while training with OZ FIT “I have gained so much for strength and conditioning, I now enjoy my favourite sport even more. I’ve gained so much more knowledge about leading a healthy and active life and how it affects the body long term.

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training?

1. OZ FIT is not just about focusing on weight loss, its about changing your lifestyle to be healthy and fit and also changing your mindset that surrounds weightloss.

2. OZ FIT supports all your goals and what can be achieved. Its about taking each day one step at a time to meet your end goal. Mason and Alicia are very supportive and its all done guilt-free. Its focused on what you want not what they want.

3. Alicia and Mason are very friendly and approachable. They share their own goals to help with your motivation. They are both very caring and very inspirational to all their clients.

My Health and Fitness Goals

My initial goal at OZFIT was to just be fitter and healthier, personally I feel I achieved this quite quickly as I have an active job and have always managed to maintain some form of exercise throughout my everyday life.  Since having children though I had let myself go a little and I needed to get back on track.  Once I reached my initial goal I decided I wanted abs (like every man does) and this followed with wanting to work on my chest strength and bench press 100kg – I am currently working on defining my muscles and becoming ripped.  I am just a typical male.

What have you achieved  while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

Since joining OzFit In February 2012 I can honestly say I am in the best shape of my life.  I feel there is nothing I couldn’t achieve.  I undertook a 6 week ab challenge and gained abs, I managed to bench press 100kg and whilst this is something that I constantly need to work on, with Mason pushing and motivating me every step of the way I know I can build on my reps.  I had heard that healthy eating and exercise were a way of life and I now understand this to be true by following Mason & Alicia’s simple rules.  I feel a lot more confident in myself and my appearance.

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training?

  1. Mason and Alicia are more than personal trainers to their clients and OzFit Personal Training has a ‘family’ feel among its dedicated clientele. 
  2. Mason and Alicia are the most professional an inspirational trainers out there.  I have trained with other groups before and no one knows how to push you to your limits like they do.  Each session is new and exhilarating and I am constantly looking forward to what the next challenge ahead might be.
  3. Outside of the Personal Training aspect, Mason and Alicia are always on hand to provide excellent nutritional advice.  Mason has provided me with a number of eating plans and while on my 6 week ab challenge I feel it was mostly my eating habits that helped me to achieve my goal.  It helps knowing that while you are struggling to eat so healthy yourself, Mason and Alicia are living and breathing those exact same struggles right there with you

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

A level of fitness that I never thought I could get to. I now have a good knowledge of everyday nutrition and healthy foods and will continue to carry on with this type of eating as I have made a lifestyle change for the better.

1. It’s not just a gym, it’s a family. You make some great friends amd have alot of fun while you train hard and get into shape.

2. It’s not just about training, its about changing your lifestyle to be healthy and happy. I’m alot happier in life now thanks to Mason and Alicia and I feel great.

3. The training I have done with Mason over the years has helped me become stronger both in body and mind.

My Health and Fitness Goals

Upon joining Oz Fit Personal Training the goals I had set for myself were somewhat unknown.  I was very happy unhappy with the way I looked and how I felt about my body, I would do anything and everything to cover up where I could.  I wanted to lose all my baby weight, I needed to tone my body, I needed to work on my core strength and my cardio fitness levels.

What have I achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

I am astounded with how far I have come.  I have lost in excess of 6kg, my cardio fitness levels are in excess of anything I ever dreamt of.  I felt my strength has improved immensely and whilst I am still working towards being fitter and stronger on a daily basis I know that all my initial goals has been achieved and it is now time to set myself new goals.  For the first time I ran the Bridge to Brisbane in September 2012 and I had never run in excess of 2km in the past let alone 10km, and with the help, guidance, encouragement and motivation of Mason and Alicia I managed to complete in just over 56m – a time I once would have never thought possible.

What are the 3 main reasons why I am happy to refer friends and family to OZFIT Personal Training?

1. Mason and Alicia practice what they preach. They are a daily inspiration for me and seeing how hard they work and train makes me want to work and train that hard also.  As sad as it sounds it pleases me when I know I have done well and therefore I feel they are doing their job and they should also feel a sense of achievement.

2. You set your own goals and the trainers help you achieve them.  During my first 3 months I knew diet was a huge part of my weight loss and Alicia would look at my food diary on a weekly basis and guide me in the right direction, no question or task is ever too big or small for OzFit.

3. No two Boot Camp sessions are ever the same.  I had always been a person who couldn’t enjoy the gym.  I find the Boot Camp sessions stimulating and the variance that the trainers capture really works every part of your body on a weekly basis.  Mason and Alicia clearly put a lot of thought and effort into what happens at each boot camp session and no session can ever be described as dull or mundane.

My Health and Fitness Goal

When I first started at Oz Fit, I wanted to take my training to a different level and push myself more than I normally would. I wanted a body I could be proud of. However, after 2 months of training with Mason, my goals turned to competing in my first fitness model competition. I’ve managed to tick that goal off my list and now get to move onto building some more muscle and am working my way to my next comp (and winning it) in a years time.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

While training at Oz Fit with Mason, I have achieved more than I ever imagined both mentally and physically. I’ve only been with Oz Fit for 6 months and with Mason’s training and support I achieved my goal of competing in an INBA fitness model competition. As well as this, I have achieved a body that I’m confident in and love, the mental strength to go after my dreams no matter what gets in my way and a changed outlook on life.

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer your friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training?

1. Their sessions always push me and challenge me to better myself. Sessions are always tough - especially leg sessions with mason where I’ve ended up collapsing on the floor not wanting to get up. This is why I travel 40mins each way just to train here!!!
2. They treat their clients like their friends. Mason and Alicia will always go out of their way to help you even outside of your sessions. They are always there to motivate and can relate to you as they are pushing themselves towards their own fitness goals.
3. Their training styles are targeted to your individual goals and change so that your body doesn’t get used to them. I love that I can change what I want to do when I walk in and they can automatically come out with a killer session.
4. I have to mention it (even though I’ve said 3)… They have a wicked pink and black studio!!!!! Seriously what other gym has such an amazing set up and colour scheme!?

My Health and Fitness Goal 

Sick of feeling fat and frumpy, My sister convinced me to do something to lose the extra weight I was carrying. My goal was to gain confidence in myself and to look and feel healthier!

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

I lost a total of 9.6kg of my 160cm frame and became a lot more confident. I became a size 8 from a size 12 and just feel a lot healthier! I used to get terrible migraines every week from late primary school years but since shedding the weight and changing my lifestyle my migraines are much less frequent and require a lot less money been thrown at the Doctors!

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer your friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training? 

1. Mason and Alicia encourage you to really strive for your health and fitness goals, they understand failings but rather than criticize they help get you back up and going with lots of encouragement.
2. It changed my life, I am happier since I dropped the weight off. I feel much more energetic and feel much healthier! 
3. It’s easy to find a personal trainer but to find a trainer who gets results every single time is something that is much harder to find- so to find out about Mason & Alicia was a life changing event- why not share that hope for change with others?

My Health and Fitness Goal

To lose weight, tone up, change my body shape, gain confidence in myself, change my eating habits and most of all “Love who I am”.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

I have lose weight which has given my body a nicer shape, my fitness levels have improve dramatically and I have made a great lifestyle change. I cannot believe what I have achieved and I love the feeling of being fit and healthy. I now can say I love who I am and I have enjoyed every minute of working towards my goal.

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training?

1. Alicia and Mason are extremely focused on helping people achieve their goals and put lots of effort into ensuring that all exercises are performed with the correct technique. They make training fun and different. They are also great motivator and also take into account each persons personal needs and limitations.

2. My training sessions are something I look forward to and derive a great sense of achievement from them. These sessions are personalized to my goals and the areas i want to focus on. I have learnt so much about nutrition and eating for a lifestyle change. 

3. Love working out in the great outdoors in the boot camp sessions. Each session is different from the other so there is plenty of variety. I completed the 2012 February 12 Week Challenge and I faced a lot of my fears including my fear of heights at the high ropes course for our super challenge. I was also able to conquer 1500 steps up a mountain in Europe, ride a cable car which I would have never been able to do. But Alicia and Mason helped me each step of the way. I can do anything now!!!!

My Health and Fitness Goals

When joining Alicia and Mason at OZ FIT I had several health and fitness goals. I wanted to lose 25kg to assist in having a child. I wanted to lose weight to look my best for my wedding and I also wanted to have a healthier body and make some lifestyle changes to make sure I live a healthy, fit and happy life.

What have you achieve while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

I have been training with Alicia at OZ FIT for a year now and in that time I have achieved so much, more than I thought I ever would. I have lost 40kg and I though those kinds of results were just results you’d read about in magazines etc. I was amazed at how all the knowledge Alicia gave me to do with nutrition and consistent exercise as well as hard work, helped me achieve this massive result. This all happened in the first 10months and change my lifestyle completely. I have learnt to eat correctly and how important nutrition is when working towards your health and fitness goals as well as the long term lifestyle change. But the most important thing I have achieved while training with Alicia is I have make a new friend in her. She is an awesome lady and I can’t thank her enough for what she has helped me achieved. She picks you up on those days when you feel like its so hard and that has made all the difference.

What are the 3 main reasons why you are happy to refer friends and family to train at OZ FIT Personal Training?

1. Achievable goals - If you listen and are keen to apply yourself, Alicia and Mason will get you to wherever you want to be and help you achieve whatever you want to achieve.

2. Motivating - Motivation was a huge thing for me. When I first started training I found it very difficult to stay positive. Alicia helped me stay on track and motivated me to keep going.

3. Professionalism and Knowledge - Alicia and Mason are very professional and will give you the correct advice and are always happy to help you with anything you need to know both during or after your pt session.

My goals were to learn more on the nutritional side of health and fitness, lose weight and get fitter.

What have you achieved while being trained at OZ FIT Personal Training?

I have achieved more than I ever imagine. I have learnt to eat healthier and make better options with my nutrition. My fitness level has increased way beyond my expectations and my weight loss was unbelievable. I feel fantatastic inside and out. I have way more confidence in myself and I love the shape I have achieved. I never thought that I would be able to run the amount I am able to now.

1. The professionalism, the caring nature and the friendliness that both Alicia and Mason show their clients.
2. The programs that Alicia & Mason design are full of variety and you never get bored because you never know what the next session is going to be. The variety keeps you motivated.

Alicia and Mason’s constant praise that you can achieve whatever you set your mind to and no matter what they are always there to support and encourage you the whole time.  I completed the 12 Week Challenge in Early 2012 and never imagined I could achieve what I did but thanks to Alicia & Mason I made it through and achieved more than I ever expected.
