You wouldn't believe it now but throughout school, I was a computer game addict that lived and breathed anything in the virtual gaming world and because of this lifestyle ate nothing but processed convenient junk foods. Towards the end of high school this obsession was at its peak, my BMI was morbidly obese and at the age of 16 my bone density was the same as a 50 year old.
The turning point was when I broke both of my hip joints (neck of the femur) one day in the back yard just by slipping over in the mud. Already being one of the shortest (and largest) in my class the specialists told me one of my major growth plates in my leg had a 20% chance of surviving. If it died off one leg would be several inches shorter than the other and I would walk around peg legged for the rest of my life. Lying in hospital I made a promise to myself that if this growth plate survived I would completely change my lifestyle that led me here and to actually start looking after my health and my body.
To my relief and against the odds it survived and for the next 2 years I kept that promise to myself and lost over 50kgs. After turning my health around completely, i found this new passion and drive in life to look after my health and fitness. But more importantly found a life long career and passion of wanting to help others achieve their health and fitness goals and to help guide them into a better, healthier way of life.
In 2005 I started OZ FIT Personal Training with the sole foundation of 'your fitness is our passion' and to this day we still treat each and every one of our clients and their goals with this belief and has built a solid reputation in the redlands to this day. OZ FIT is one of the longest established privately owned personal training companies still running and will continue to grow in the future. But no matter how big OZ FIT will get in the future I will never step back as a Head Trainer at OZ FIT because that is where my true passion lies.
After 11 years in the fitness industry I still love what I do and I understand what it feels like starting out training overweight and never done much training at all. We don't attract athletes as clients we attract everyday mums and dads that generally don't have allot of time and are intimidated by the gyms.
I am currently living the life I've dreamed of with my wife Alicia and we have big dreams that are coming true in both personal and business and the only way we are going to achieve all these things is by continuing to provide that service to OZ FIT clients and helping them achieve their health and fitness goals.
Ive always believed and this is what I teach my clients.
"what effort you put into training and life are the results you get out of it"

Born 9th April 1986
Since the age of 5, I have been actively involved in sports and fitness, excelling in district finals for swimming, state finals for sports aerobics and state finals for netball. I am very passionate about health and fitness and couldn’t imagine my life without it. I love to keep my body fit and strong with heavy weight training, running and meditation. I started lifting weights when I was 17 years and love the feeling that lifting weights gives you and what it does to a woman’s body. I completed in my first half marathon in 2015 and love participating in the annual tough mudder events. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t give a try.
I believe that the body must be treated like a temple by feeding it good healthy food, keeping it active and strong as well as creating a place of happiness and positive thoughts. I am very passionate and knowledgeable in the field of nutrition and enjoy working with my clients to help them create a nutrition plan to suit their goals and lifestyle that is maintainable for the rest of their lives.
I absolutely love my job working as a trainer at OZ FIT as the clients we attract at OZ FIT are amazing, inspiring and they create a family atmosphere of motivation and encouragement. I love watching them then transform their lives to become healthier and happier.
I believe I am living my dream by helping people transform their lives physically, mentally and emotionally through exercise, nutrition and positive support. I married the man of my dreams who also happens to be my business partner and we live and breath health and fitness in the OZ FIT business and hope to continue to spread the word in the community.
